Hi,
I'm looking into ways to use tabular data like
https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Data:Zika-institutions-test.tab
in SPARQL queries but could not find anything on that.
My motivation here is in part coming from the time out limits, and the
basic idea here would be to split queries that typically time out into
sets of queries that do not time out and - if their results were
aggregated - would yield the results that would be expected for the
original query would it not time out.
The second line of motivation here is that of keeping track of how
things develop over time, which would be interesting for both content
and maintenance queries as well as usage of things like classes,
references, lexemes or properties.
I would appreciate any pointers or thoughts on the matter.

Taipei on April 20 or 21, 2020 (the date to be finalized soon) and as
part of the Web Conference 2020 [1]. In the past years, Wiki Workshop

The call for proposals for grants to organise WikiCite satellite events

open.
WikiCite is an initiative to develop open citations and linked
bibliographic data to serve free knowledge. Since 2016, there has been an
annual conference in support of that goal. In 2020, this will become a
series of independently organised Satellite events around the world.
The steering committee, with the financial support of the Alfred P. Sloan
Foundation and the Wikimedia Foundation, are offering grants to support
WikiCite Satellite events in three categories for events happening in the first
half of 2020:

The conference will be held May 13-14 at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, USA with a focus on learning concrete ways that linked data benefits GLAM institutions and discovering pathways to participation in linked data. By bringing together a broad range of perspectives, and centering diversity, equity, inclusion, and ethics in our discussions, we will create a community of practice for linked data in libraries.
Thanks to the generous support of the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, a limited number of stipends at three award levels are available to make participation possible for those who would not otherwise be able to attend:
* Registration fee ($100 US) waived
* Up to $500 US of travel expenses covered plus registration fee ($100 US) waived
* Up to $1250 US of travel expenses covered plus registration fee ($100 US) waived
Stipend applications will be reviewed by the Program Committee and recipients selected based on merit and need.
We are accepting proposals for content in a variety of formats and especially encourage proposals (conference or pre-conference) from participants from groups and regions that are traditionally underrepresented in conferences related to linked data in libraries and other cultural heritage organizations, as well as proposals from early career professionals. Awesome Tools for the Semantic Web - 1st reminder

A session at US2TS 2020
Do you develop tools, libraries, or other resources that are intended to enable, broaden, or apply semantic web technologies? Are you interested in raising the community’s awareness of them? Do you build (semantic web or not) applications (re)using such resources, and have a story to tell? Or have you tried building such applications and discovered shortcomings in the current tool or library ecosystem?
If your answer is yes to any of the above, please consider attending and contributing to “Fostering an awesome tool ecosystem for the semantic web”, a session at the upcoming US2TS 2020 conference (March 9-11, Raleigh NC, https://us2ts.org). The session aims to foster community awareness of existing resources based on semantic web technologies, and to facilitate the exchange of know-how and common gaps or limitations in current tooling.
