Hi everyone!
I wanted to share a few recent changes to the Gender Gap mailing list
webpage:
https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/gendergap
There you will see a new "About Gendergap" description. It includes a
shorter description of what the list goal is, a note about the new
moderation policy, our civility policy, and a place to learn more if you're
new to "minding the gap."
We have also crafted a new welcome message for new list members stressing
these points in a friendly manner. It also encourages new members to
introduce themselves.
I do hope you'll join me in inviting friends, Wikimedians, and colleagues
of any gender who share our common goal: to increase the participation of
women and transwomen in Wikimedia projects. Think about colleagues and
friends who have a passion for wiki's, women's culture, open source, open
stuff, GLAM, and so forth. Feel free to also forward this email off list to
mailing lists.
Thank you everyone for your ongoing passion, contributions and remember,
WE CAN [EDIT]! [1]

Thanks, Sarah, for letting us know about this. And thank you to the list
moderators for revisiting the list's purpose and principles.
