Last week... I saw ONE red point in South Africa. And now... I see none whatsoever. How can that be ? We should see 8 points, should not we ?

No, I get it. The dots are only the missing articles. So there was one missing. But it is likely to be this one : https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Magaliesberg_Biosphere_Reserve&am... Since it has been created... it is not missing any more :)
Now... I think... a path for improvement would be to also propose a display for existing articles. Because those can be stubs and those can benefit from the translation system.
Look at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gouritz_Water_Management_Area It is one of the "World Network of Biosphere Reserves in Africa" articles. Honestly... nope :)

The short answer is check back on Sunday and you should see more dots :)
The longer answer is the map http://tinyurl.com/jqwdhbd runs off Wikidata and only shows Reserves without English Wikipedia articles so when someone created the article the marker will have dissappeared. Also there are around 100 Reserves where the coordinates were in a format that Wikidata couldn't understand so I have to enter them another way, looking at the map of Biosphere Reserves with articles http://tinyurl.com/hot8xd8 the missing sites are missing coordinates and don't appear on either maps yet. I'm trying to sort this out today and tomorrow. Thanks very much
