Hi friends
We have finalized the list of financially supported countries.
As a reminder, our original Grant request was to support 10 countries. WMF granted support to 8 countries. We actually received 10 propositions. 8 were complete. 1 lacked a budget. 1 was just a draft.
So it was a bit heartbreaking, but we decided to support 7 countries at full amount. And to divide the last to support two countries at half budget.
The countries supported at original amount are Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, Nigeria, Tanzania, Ivory Coast and Uganda. The two countries supported at partial amount are Ghana and Cameroon.
Now... let's do it !!!!
I am not done yet, but the basic framework of the Commons portal is ready. Check out https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Wiki_Loves_Africa Feel free to jump in and help ! (no translation yet please. Let's finalize the content first)
