For example, the top for 2014 is https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Egyptian_food_Koshary.jpg currently in the Egypt article of en.wikipedia
In Portuguese, this is also https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Egyptian_food_Koshary.jpg... because the image is now used as the icon image for culinary !

In Russian... this is https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:L%27%C3%A9ventail.jpg

All in all, it largely suggests that there is still work to do to integrate the images from the contest in articles.
