The Movement Charter Drafting Committee has concluded its first community
review of the methodology draft, which will be used to ratify the Movement
Charter in 2024.
This community review included feedback collection on Meta

communities and one conversation with the committees of the Wikimedia
projects. MCDC greatly appreciates everyone's input. The recording of the

The WMF support team will produce a report on community input in May. MCDC
will incorporate the feedback and share an updated version of the
ratification methodology in August 2023. The MCDC will continue to outreach
to stakeholders regarding the updated methodology in late 2023.
