Hello all
Katherine - on behalf of the wikimedia foundation - has released a statement:
We regret and condemn the decision by Turkish authorities to block access to Wikipedia.
Wikipedia is a vital source of information for hundreds of millions of people around the
world, containing essential historical, cultural, and scientific knowledge. Restricting
access to this source violates our fundamental rights to information, education, and
inquiry.
We are committed to ensuring Wikipedia is available to the millions of people in Turkey
who rely on it every day. We urge the Turkish authorities to reconsider this course of
action, and will be pursuing judicial review of this decision.
Thanks!
Isla

Hi there,
What kind of statement are we going to release ? In the name of the community or the
foundation ?
Best
Emna
