Dear all
Some reminders about the photo contest
1. Please consider adding some information and pictures of your events : to https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Wiki_Loves_Africa_2016/Local_even... It is a good way to show the community what's going on
2. When you tweet or facebook about the event, please help us track your tweet and fb in adding hashtags or notifications (such as @wikilovesafrica) This helps us see your posts and further disseminate what you do
3. Consider adding your best event pictures to this category https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Wiki_Loves_Africa_2016_Event It will make it easier for you afterwards to show your group activity. What gets on Facebook is quickly buried. It is for immediate use and satisfaction. But what gets on Commons is for long lasting use.
4. Remember to put your receipts in the dedicated dropbox managed by Elisabeth If you wait several months before putting them there... there is high chance that they will get lost. The sooner you do it... the best. The dropbox should be your shoebox where you dump receipts at the end of the day. Most of you have not provided ANY receipts yet. I would like to thank Tunisia for providing two. On that matter, allow me to remind that a receipt is a _ticket_ given by the _company_ to which you _bought_ goods. For example the print shop where you get leaflets printed. For example the food shop where you boughts the drinks for the meetup. For example a Facebook receipt if you bought ads to push a FB post. A handwritten note on scrap paper saying that you gave xx to a participant to attend a festival is... better than nothing... but _is not a receipt_.
