I am getting very concerned about the registration for Gdańsk still not being open. It is now just a little more than a month until the start of the conference. Last year registration opened nearly two months before the start and in 2008 it opened well over two months before the start. Can someone involved with the organisation tell us when registration is going to open? I'm not the first person to ask this question, but we don't seem to have received an answer yet.
Thanks,
Tom

why don't you, please, tell us what is the trouble you are facing, because maybe some people can help you? I talked on IRC channel of the organization team and I was told the registron shall be open before thurstay (yesterday). But up to now, nothing

the situation is more than critical and Wikimedia volunteers would like some feed back from the organizational team.

Hi all:
I am facing another serious problem too. As my CFP submission has been accepted, but i still did not hear anything about the scholarship for speakers, I quite worry about whether i can make it to Poland.

I suppose I have good news - the beta version was released today and now is under testing :-)) .

That's good news. Can we help with the testing? We're already well past a reasonable launch date, but the registration really needs to be up and running next week.
If you're running into tech nightmares, please consider just using a straightforward hosted registration system like Eventbrite or one of the higher end solutions. See this page for an overview of tools:

Or consider taking advantage of the help I've offered daily for over a week, now, complete with software, only to be rebuffed every time.

Congrats, and hope the execution is soon open!

Tomorrow has come and gone twice now. Please don't let it pass again.

Is there a backup plan if the local team execution doesn't pull through?
Yep. We all turn up in Gdansk, find a big bar and have a 3 day WikiMeetup - it'll be great!
