The proceedings for Wikimania are almost complete. Phoebe and Nick : you
are manic demideities.
The proceedings this year are available online ahead of time, so that you
can start discussing the topics and asking questions of the authors and
speakers now -- and so that this can inform their presentations and the
questions asked at the end.
One of the goals of Wikimania is to actually reach some high-bandwidth
comparison of similar questions and ideas, and resolution of some
difficult but solvable issues that it can be hard to work through without
a concerted push by many people at the same time.
If there is a topic you want to discuss or see discussed at Wikimania,
please find relevant presentations, or create discussions and link to
them from the Discussions page. Don't forget to link out to existing
conversations on other wikis and mailing lists, and to let those
conversants know that there is a wikimania page (and potentially
a bof or f2f discussion) about the topic.
Looking forward to seeing many of you next week,
