I wonder if anyone would like to join a meetup at London's The Globe, an exact replica of the historical theatre, and get some tickets in "The Yard" are only £5 - ie standing-room like the Groundlings from Shakespeare's day.
Some times that are available:
Tues - Anthony and Cleopatra 2pm (though this may not be ideal for the jetlaggers!) Wed - Anthony and Cleopatra 7:30pm Thurs - King Lear 7:30pm Sun - Holy Warriors 6:30pm (not Shakespeare, but apparently Shakespeare-esque!)
This experiences involves a lot of standing among the proletariat, but gets you a lot of cultural and historical bang for your money.
What would people be most interested in?
Maybe Anthony and Cleopatra Wednesday evening, as there doesn't seem to be much official Wikimania programming for then?
Thanks, Richard (User:Pharos) Wikimedia NYC
Tuesday 2pm sounds good to me, ideally we meet up at Thistle City.
Will hop on the boat later tonight, so would be nice to be certain of time etc. by the end of the day :)

Ed beat me to saying, please add this to our fringe, and also, *please tweet that meetup link to @wikimanialondon with my recommended tweet: * "Join Shakespeare Wikigroundings at The Globe (bit.ly link to the fringe meetup) #wikimania2014 "
Let me know how it goes, and do send us a photo of the experience too so we can add it to our facebook, instagram, wiki commons, and twitter feed for wikimania.
Cheers (Naureen Nayyar @norabean)

I can do the Tuesday 2pm Anthony and Cleopatra option, with Lodewijk, and
whoever else would like to join.
Perhaps we should meet up in the Barbican Thistle City lobby at 1pm?

I would suggest giving yourselves more than an hour between meeting and the performance. TfL's journey planner gives a 35 minute journey at that time of day including a bus journey (traffic can be worse than predicted) and a 15 minute walk across a likely-congested Millennium Bridge at average walking pace for someone not stopping to take photos. If you go with this option, based on current forcast you may experience some normal British weather and get rather wet!

FWIW, I'm going to Holy Warriors the week after Wikimania - by all accounts it's fairly good.
