Hi, all,
Nowadays, I am thinking about the content of the official website. I think it will be good to have a "History of Wikimania" page on the website, to give some idea to those who are new to Wikimania or Wikimedia community. Please see: http://wikimania2007.wikimedia.org/wiki/History_of_Wikimania
Just like the "2006 Doha Asian Games" website, there's a page of the game footsteps year by year on it. Please see: http://www.doha-2006.com/gis/menuroot/spirit/history.aspx.html
I couldn't find anything about who invented this event. There was not any record on who invented, how they thought, why this event held....... Does anybody know it?
Thanks.

As far as I am aware, Elian first had the idea in a cold rainy fall day :-)
