Hi everybody,
most people which shared ithe room with me (room 706 at HI-DC) have returned home today but somebody left a plastic bag with some belongings. The bag is a plastic bag with a Santa picture on it, it contains clothes (shorts, singlet, a pair of boxers) and a couple of Garmin-branded cables of which I'm not able to tell their use (!). I don't remember the nicknames of all my roommates, let alone complete names (sorry, I'm really not good at that). Anyway if you were staying in room 706 at Hostelling International DC and you recognize your things I'll be happy to help (three possible solutions so far: give the bag to the organizers here in DC, bring the things in Italy with me and send them to you from there [if you, forgetful unknown guy, live in Europe it may well be the most convenient solution] or just leave all the stuff here ... and let the entropy of the universe rise freely :P). You can write me in private, if you wish.
Cristian p.s.: in the highly unlikely case that the bag belongs to somebody which is still in the room (which I doubt since three out of the four remaining occupants of the room are here now)... I apologize in advance for snooping in what then would be your things Lodewijk :P ...but the bag was under my bed ...
Hi mailing list peeps.
I think I have left a brown bag full of Steven Zhang's (mostly uneaten) chocolates and a blue, square battery pack thing somewhere at GWU. (Or possibly it's still hiding in my hostel room - 505.)
If anyone has maybe picked it up then I'd be very happy to receive it again so I can post it/give it to Steve.
Joe
I bet he just eat them all and isn't telling me :-) Steven Zhang Community Fellow, Wikimedia Foundation szhang@wikimedia.org
