Hello everyone,
We'd like to invite you to a meetup, taking place on *Friday at 5:00PM in the Belgrade room*, to gather input and feedback on WMF's proposed changes to resource distribution in the movement https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimedia_Foundation_Board_noticeboard/Board_resolution_and_vote_on_the_proposed_Movement_Charter/Appendix .
We welcome anyone interested to join the meetup, and are particularly looking for input from current and former *Executive Directors of Affiliates,* current and former *members of the Regional Funds Committees, * and *former members of the* *Funds Dissemination Committee*. We believe input from these three groups in particular is critical for designing a system that can evolve our current grantmaking strategies and set us up as a movement with sustainable structures to support them.
We look forward to seeing you on Friday! Kaarel and Yael
Hello Kaarel, thank you for the invitation. I’m wondering if there's an alternative for those who wish to participate but won’t be attending Wikimania in person.

Hello Kaarel,
It would also be good that the discussion that happens in person gets captured somewhere, and that there's also a process to share feedback online (on Zoom calls, for example, with simultaneous interpretation). Not everyone will be at Wikimania and not everyone feels comfortable sharing feedback in English.
cheers,

Hi Evelin,
We will be sharing notes from the discussion on Meta following the session.
We recognize that not everyone will be at Wikimania and are inviting everyone to share their perspectives on the Talk page here https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Talk:Wikimedia_Foundation_Board_noticeboard/Board_resolution_and_vote_on_the_proposed_Movement_Charter/Appendix (thank you for your contributions there to-date). As I mentioned to Derrick, we are also working on a way to have a few online versions of the discussion we'll have at Wikimania, but mostly we're asking people to contribute on the Talk page so it can be a truly global discussion.

Hi Derrick,
We are not able to do a hybrid call this time, but we are working on a plan for more opportunities for community engagement, and will send that out on Wikimania-l later this month. Most importantly, we welcome your input and suggestions on the Talk page here https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Talk:Wikimedia_Foundation_Board_noticeboard/Board_resolution_and_vote_on_the_proposed_Movement_Charter/Appendix .
Thank you for your engagement!
Yael
