Hi there,
when and where does the bus go from Dupont Circle Hotel to the Library of Congress Jefferson Building?
Thanks in advance, Sebastian
Hey Sebastian,
If I remember correctly from the shuttle bus schedule the bus(es?) leave from Dupont Circle at 18:30(6:30pm) from the front of the hotel.

The shuttle will leave @ 6:30PM from in front of the hotel (someone should be there to tell us exactly where). The shuttle back to the hotel will be ~8:45PM, and I believe they will have a person there to tell us where to go.

Hey everyone! I just arrived to State plaza Hotel. Will there be a shuttle from here as well? Hopefully yes :(

State Plaza can either take shuttle from the venue to DuPont Circle and wait there for the LOC shuttle (and socialize with Wikipedians!) or take metro from Foggy Bottom at 23 and i Streets. The venue is 21 and H Streets.

Will this be picking up at Hostelling International?
Those at HI should take the Metro from Metro Center. There is enough fare on the cards to cover getting there and the return.

Yes, my apologies. The destination station is Capitol South. Exit the station, go left down the street, and walk down the street until you are across from the Capitol. There will be directional assistance.

Nice job James on giving directions. For when he can't quickly reply, maps.google.com (among other alternatives) have good maps of the city, and I think metro and other routes are published in various places as well.

Or you could ask google to actually give the directions (not just a map). It will tell you how to take the metro or bus if you select public transit.

Is the Jefferson Building the main building of the Library of Congress? Should we enter via the main entrance?

It is the Jefferson Building, yes, which is across from the Madison Building. If you're approaching from the Metro, you want the *second* LOC building after the first.

Yes, you may bring a camera although it will be scanned on the x-ray belt. There are certain exhibits where you cannot take pictures, though, but there will be signs saying so. Otherwise, it's a very photogenic building!
