Just to clarify. I was with a group of Argentinians and other Chilean. None
of the Argentinians had problems at all (just the usual hard security
controls). I had problems all the time, I guess because of my potential Arab
name (and look? who knows). Dennis had problems with his PC but I don't
think it was targeted because of being Chilean and/or Latin American. I
don't know the experience of the Bolivian guy or the Brazilians, but I don't
think they had great problems.
The problem is that if you look like Arab or Muslim some way you will have
problems for sure. And that's discrimination anyway.

Let's hope i'm wrong and you're right. After all, latino americanos are a
big group in Wikimania (more than 30 this year).

That's not true. They also use the same principle in Russia. And I
think in other countries as well, except Europe, which mostly has
visa-free entrance.
