Are there folks planning on visiting NYC after Wikimania for some touristy
stuff? We should get in touch before the conclusion of the conference.
Best regards,
Anirudh Bhati

Hello!
Considering all the expenses that shall be footed by WMF for attendees who
got full scholarships.
How much would be a good amount of money to carry as pocket money to
sustain oneself for the conference?
regards,
Stephen

Here is the updated NYC itinerary for Saturday July 7, with a
particular emphasis on the Wiki World's Fair on Governors Island:
***11am ferry ride*** at Battery Maritime Terminal by the South Ferry
subway stop (the southern tip of Manhattan), to arrive at Wiki World's
Fair on Governors Island, which runs from 11am-3pm.
--You should arrive about 15 minutes beforehand, because there is a
line for the ferry.
--Those wishing to help with initial set-up can take the 10am ferry
with the bamboo diehards.
--Wiki World's Fair is located at the south of the Governors Island
Parade Ground, next to the artist-designed arcade-themed mini-golf
(which we will play!). Also look out for the bamboo city we'll be
putting up!
After Governors Island wraps at 3pm, we'll take the ferry back and do
some rambling around Lower Manhattan and possibly Brooklyn,
Thanks,
Richard
