hi folks, I just realised that few users have had trouble figuring out about templates and changing the content of the main page. I've compiled a FAQ answering on how to do the same and a bit regarding how one can become sys-op on Kannada wikipedia. Please go through it... http://kn.wikipedia.org/wiki/WP:HOWTO As quoted there, one doesn't need sys-op previleges to edit the main page items. If you have observed carefully, many templates put together make up the main page. Each template is editable. I've put the links on FAQ for your reference. The links also appear on the bottom while you view the source of the main page. Also, the wiki is vast. There are loads of things one would have to explore on their own based on their own interests.
