So I suggested a ticket system. Then you said "we already have one" and
linked to it. So I looked at it and noticed it is completely shut off
and private and secret. As such, it doesn't fulfill the task either. I
would have thought making a part of the system public and open would
only be a quick and simple configuration setting, but if it isn't, well
then OTRS clearly isn't the solution either.
Either way, you'll have to come up with something better than helpdesk-l.
Hence my suggestion of a PHPbb bulletin board. Would this be possible
to implement? It's only a simple SQL database and a few PHP files.
Just as a test? It would save *a lot* on inbox space.
