Dear all,
the following search gives you a list of members (of the Strict Observance) with their respective birth years.
I was trying to give an age profile of this group at a certain moment in time (1780) but my script changes failed.
This is something I can do by adapting a nice WD-query (Age of all human beings on FactGrid, age of death):
But my attempt to use a date instead of the age at death failed
...I have a vague idea why the replacement does not work that way, but no idea what the proper query would look like.
Best wishes, Olaf
(PS a distribution by birth years might be just as nice and far easier that the computation...)

I think it works if you tag the date you mean: https://tinyurl.com/yzcqvrf9 or https://tinyurl.com/yk4cla52
But if the date is hard-coded, you could also skip the YEAR()/MONTH() functions: https://tinyurl.com/ygv8wb26

...and also Bruno Belhoste's solution - the the results are not exactly the same; will have to look into this...
It is a useful search (as long as the organisation is not too old, I assume). My thanks into all directions for the SPARQL lesson.
Cheers, Olaf
