are we nearing some real deployment soon? Did not really hear any info on this lately... nor found some maintained general project schedule with real dates... Will Hungarian Wikipedia launch Wikidata soon? What about some "official" press???

Hi Jan,
funny that you ask right now, there must be some cosmic vibes resonating. We have indeed started the Telcos with the WMF regarding the review and deployment, and just had one of them yesterday.
We do not commit to dates yet, because it's a "when it's ready and reviewed" thing, and a site outage like last week or an unexpected security bug can push that date back too easily. But we are currently preparing the review, which will lead to deployment on the test servers, which will allow us to launch the repository, and then finally the client on the Hungarian Wikipedia.
Each of these steps is estimated to take two weeks -- if all goes well.
