Hello All ,
i was wondering if someone knows roughly the Rate of Wikidata changes per minute or even per day , i tried to watch the Feed for a while but it varies a lot what would be the maximum and minimum rate , should we expect it also to increase as a result of more contributions ?
i'm taking about updates posted in the RSS feed herehttp://www.wikidata.org/w/index.php?title=Special:RecentChanges&feed=atom

You can use Wikipulse (https://wikipulse.herokuapp.com/) which shows the rate of edits for the current minute. Given that most edits on Wikidata are from bots, you can estimate that the number for each minute is about the same. (Not sure how precise you need). If you need an exact number, you can connect to the real-time feed on irc:// irc.wikimedia.org/#wikidata.wikipedia. -- Legoktm

There are two answers that question; are you looking for the edit rate for edits done manually only, or are you looking for the edit rate for both edits done manually and edits done by scripts and automated programs?

i needed a very rough estimate for any changes in wikidata , user edits or bots and scripts wikipulse shows that there's 75 changes per minute to wikidata that's very enough to know

I was tracking bots and their rate of change on wikidata for a month or so
http://inkdroid.org/wikidata-bots/#period=month
using this code:
https://github.com/edsu/wikidata-bots
it used my stathat account, who are moving to a fee model, so I stopped running the service. It might not be too hard to switch it over to using something like Cube (http://square.github.io/cube/) if you have somewhere to run the service.

Doesn't http://stats.wikimedia.org/wikispecial/EN/draft/TablesWikipediaWIKIDATA.htm answer the question (database > edits)?
