Re: [Wikidata] Action plan for improving the data import process

Hi all, Following on from a session I co-hosted at WikidataCon <https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidata:WikidataCon_2017/Notes/Data_import:_An_overview_of_the_current_system,_and_idea_exchange_for_the_future_direction>, we've put together a project page aimed at creating an action plan for for improving the data import process: Data import processes map <https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidata:Data_import_process_map> (outlines what we have already, and what is still needed) Discussion page <https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidata_talk:Data_import_processes_map> (discussion points and suggestions) The main objective is to use this area to build a picture of what already exists and what's missing in the data import process. This can then be used to create actionable tasks (which we're proposing be managed on Phabricator). If you have anything to add please go ahead and edit the project page and/or join the discussion.
