what's the usage of the Person class ?
'Person' [1] should generally be avoided. For background, see the discussion about how to classify subjects like Coco Chanel in [2]. That's the basis for the note "not for use with P31, instead use Q5 human". Pretty much all the items that link to 'person' [3] shouldn't.
For fictional characters, the convention is to classify them as 'fictional character', e.g. as done for Jack Bauer [4]. There are some tricky knowledge representation issues with fictional entities. For example, how do we ensure that Harry Potter is not returned in a query for all people born in London in 1984? The fictional universes project [5] aims to address problems like that.

I would imagine it's for fictional characters like Little Red Riding Hood, but I see that when I click on "What links here" while on page Q215627 I see "Sleeping Beauty", but also roles and dead people. I am just as lost as you are!

Hi all,
just got confused a little bit between Person Q215627 and Human Q5
classes
in the Person page https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q215627 it's written "not for use with P31, instead use Q5 human" , if so what's the usage of the Person class ?
thanks Regards
