I'll have to agree with Romaine here. I do consider myself a more advanced Wikidata user, but here I find myself at a loss. I want to move an interwiki link from one interwiki data item to the other. Currently my workflow for this seems to be this:
- I open the edit field on Wikidata item 1
- I delete the item there
- I hit save
- I open the edit field on Wikidata item 2
- I specify the language there
- I specify the page name there
- I am unable to hit save
This should work. Maybe give the DB a minute to catch up. If this fails consistently, it's a major bug.
A streamlined workflow for moving a sitelink to another item would be nice though. Could be built as a gadget, but we should look into integrating it fully.
That gadget exists already ;-) It's called move. The ticket for integration in Wikibase is at https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T74019
