Hey GLAM fam!
I'm reaching out with a personal invitation to join our last conversation hour of the year.
*Why it matters for GLAM:* We'll be covering our core advocacy priorities as well as upcoming opportunities to collaborate...yes, including Copyright!
GLAM members are incredibly active on partnerships and advocacy at all levels. It would be great to hear your thoughts, comments and feedback on our upcoming priorities and projects, as well as ideas on how we can collaborate.
We're hosting two calls in different timezones on October 28th & 30th (see email below for details).
Hope to see you there,
Ziski

Dear Wikimedians,
You are warmly invited to our* final conversation hour *of the year. The topic this month is advocacy priorities for the Free Knowledge Movement. Our speaker is Rebecca MacKinnon, VP of Global Advocacy @ WMF.
We are hosting two calls in two different time zones:
-
October 28 @ 15:00 UTC (check your local time https://zonestamp.toolforge.org/1666969227) -
October 30 @ 12:00 UTC (check your local time https://zonestamp.toolforge.org/1667131201)
We will discuss the Foundation’s advocacy priorities, mission, staff, and collaboration opportunities. If you’ve ever wondered why the Foundation has a global advocacy team, what we do, why you have been emailed by so many people on the same team, or how you can work with us, then join us. We have answers!
The first half of the call is a presentation from the WMF Global Advocacy team. The second half will be an engaging discussion.
Details on how to join the Zoom call and how to add to the agenda can be found on Meta. https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Public_policy/Conversation_hours_and_Events#Upcoming_Conversation_Hours
Hope to see you there!
Ziski & the Global Advocacy Team
