Remember to put aside the date in your diary for our global GLAM conference!
We will be taking over the conference center in the British Library
which is next to Paddington International train station.
Registration is not yet open, but if you have ideas for presentations
or would like to help with supporting the event, please see
<http://uk.wikimedia.org/wiki/GLAM-WIKI_2012> for details and
contacts.
Cheers,

Guide to email tags: http://j.mp/faetags
Hello museum-l subscribers,
per Bugzilla (https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=35490)
and RT (http://rt.wikimedia.org/Ticket/Display.html?id=2802)
i have "renamed" the list from museum-l to just "glam". ("renamed" in
quotes because unfortunately it is not simply renaming but creating a
new list and importing / redirecting).
All settings, subscriptions, users and passwords have been imported. I
then just changed the list name, description and subject prefix. So
you have automatically been subscribed and don't need to change
anything, _besides_ your local mail filters for the subject line.
The new address is glam(a)lists.wikimedia.org
The new listinfo page is: https://lists.wikimedia.org/mailman/listinfo/glam
The old email address and listinfo URL have been redirected via this
gerrit change: https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#change,4693
so old links and mails to the old address should be forwarded nevertheless.
I am testing this by sending this announcement to the old address and
replying to it on the new address.
!NEW! !! If you mail to this list there are PUBLIC ARCHIVES now!
Regarding archives: I did not have anything to import or merge because
the old list did not have archiving activated. The ticket asks to make
archives public but there weren't any.
I just enabled PUBLIC ARCHIVING. Please do not reply via list if you
did not want archiving as requested on Bugzilla.
Please reply to 2802(a)rt.wikimedia.org if there are any issues.
Best regards,
