Well, the title of this thread does say HELP!
I see that Carol and Andreas are down at [[Bukkake]] and [[Snowballijng (sexual practice)]]. Both have problematic images. They are going to be absolutely eaten alive, so go down there and help them out.
It's not that anything can be accomplished. That would be quite impossible, I've worked with these editors extensively over the past months, and they are ruthless, relentless, clever, and utterly without scruple. Their motivation? Don't get me started. And because of the of the subject matter one cannot expect any support from the admin corps, rather the opposite if anything.
But Carol and Andreas might appreciate the gesture anyway.
I don't think it's at all helpful to use this mailing list for canvassing, name-calling and insinuation. Rather than "this is why your approach won't work", why not try giving your suggestions?

Per this discussion, I suggested a relatively minor wording change to the Image Use Policy here: Wikipedia_talk:Image_use_policy#Proposal_to_reword_Rule_of_thumb_9
Of course, it is already being attacked, with one commentor stating that illustrating the article "Girl" with models from SuicideGirls (a porn site) "is not at all 'inappropriate' as the models are clearly females". Sigh.

We expect administrators to support anyone who is editing appropriately. If you are flailing away in a wild way, it will end badly, but our process provides for boldness. That said, at 1 a.m. my motivation is low...
