Kim: totally agree with this part:
I make a prediction. Nothing is going to change, regardless of what we find and discover, unless we find a way to change the governing system (the community rules). But as the current system is dominated by men, we have to convince them to change the rules. Good luck with that.
I think there there is a lot of resistance to changing anything they see as a core value or system, way of doing things, etc....and you freakin get penalized for it too in direct and indirect ways......which is almost paradoxical...b/c individually, people are accepting of diversity and change, but no so much in a group.
