In case you missed it, the DebConf17 (Debian Conference) dates were announced: August 6-12, 2017. And it just so happens to be in Montreal as well :-)
My quick searching indicated that the venues are about 30 minutes away on public transport, so it might be feasible to attend parts of it while at Wikimania...
