Since there are really no genuine sources apart from possibly a single article, there's not a lot to write about. Once the concept is explained, there is no encyclopaedia article, because as a social phenomenon, nothing is actually known about it.
End result: Replace by a two mention on some "List of hoax memes" page or something.
Whatever you do, don't "delete" it - that might upset people. Simply file it somewhere more appropriate.
