"The Wiki Indaba 2017 programme structure is designed to create focused opportunities for conference participants to actively engage with each other about Wikipedia on the continent.
The program for the conference will be modelled after the theme "Building sustainable wikimedia communities for the benefit of Africa" and built along the following tracks; Critical issues and projects, Training and Discussions.
The main goal of the 2nd Indaba Conference is to focus its intent on activating communities and formulating a continent strategy that includes: 1. Building capacity for African Wikimedians 2. Fostering growth within the African Continent 3. Connecting Africans both within the continent and in the diaspora
In accordance with these goals and theme, the program will include paper presentations, panels, and a strategy session. Submissions will be reviewed and selected in advance by the programme committee. Please submit your ideas for a presentation below.
