I just went to look at http://advisory.wikimedia.org/wiki/Meeting_July_2008, and see that Pat Hughes has been retained for the meeting. Was a budget approved on this ? Is the budget planned for one day or two days ? (15 or 16 ? or both ?)
The budget is 2 days. Sue suggested Pat and that is part of the budget. Achal is working on finding external funding so that we wouldn't need to use any of the budget for travel costs. Also, advisory board members will try to fund their own travel as they did last year.
The plan was for meetings to last 2 days. I doubt 1 would be enough, but 1 and a half could be. Since all the Board of Trustee members would be at this, could the board meeting be held on the 14th? Having it the other way round wouldn't make sense since there's no need for AB members to be there an extra day. Alternatively, is half a day enough for the Board of Trustees meeting? If so, that could still happen the 16th, or we could have part of the AB meeting with the Board of Trustees present.
When are all the chapter meetings planned? Are those also likely to clash with this?
