We're more than 1100 km west of Washington, but here in St. Louis we're already starting to cool off, and the forecast looks very pleasant for the coming week.
Still: if you're going to be in Washington in the summer, then you should wear lightweight clothing and drink plenty of water.

It actually looks like it will be beautiful in DC next week! Can't ask for better than high 80s in mid July in humid DC! (Note I'm a transplanted Northern Virginian, so I'm quite familiar with DC weather.)
