Hey,
I'd like to thank everyone that attended the mapping party yesterday
evening. We did a great job, both in mapping the surroundings and engage
more people in into the project. You can see a partially updated version
here<http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=32.80372&lon=34.98635&zoom=17&layers=M>
.
Just a hint: if you have some spare time, and want to help the project, you
can map your surroundings by using the
"Mapzen<http://mapzen.cloudmade.com/>"-app
for your smartphone.
Grtz,
Maarten
"At your own risk" sounds fine ;)
Or will an early shuttle take those of us who want to swim there before 6pm?

Hi folks,
I just realized that while we're gathered here from all over the planet,
there wasn't any OpenPGP keysigning party[1] planned. So, at a late
notice, I plan one today at 14:00 (after lunch) at the hall in front of
Greg bar (near the front desk).
Instructions:
* English: http://keysigning.org/methods/adhoc
* Hebrew:

I suspect most of you[2] will not paper slips ready. We may have to cut
some corners and rely on taking pictures of the key+fingerprint. In that
case, you must consider the picture as the hard copy: verify it is
readable after taking it. Also make sure you have a way to tell which
keys are OK (e.g.: taking a picture of a key marks the person as
verified).

I understand that the shuttles tonight are already leaving at 19:30 and
there will be no other public transport? (wondering about the mentioned free
time activities and how realistic that is, in that light :) )

Hi!
I'd also like to travel to Dead Sea after Wikimania (probably on 8th
August), but I don't need to get back on the same day.
Is there any possibility to travel there by public transportation (if yes,
how)?
Thanks a lot!
Samat

Don't count on public transportation for that.
Either take a taxi (very expensive), or rent a car...

Hi,
If you need vegetarian food, please ask the catering staff for it.
There's more than just salads - there are hot vegetarian and vegan
main courses. If the waiter doesn't know this, please the waiters'
manager.

Hi all,
French-speaking Wikimania participants are hereby
invited (even if you only speak a little french and want to practice) to
have a drink at some bar and eat at some restaurant (that is, if we find one
that is open...)
If you want to attend, meet us at 19:00 in front of Hecht House.
regards
Sylvain.

Bonjour,
Sylvain.

The schedule says the beach party tomorrow starts at 19:30, and shuttles
will leave for the beach from the venue just before it starts...
But it also says "entry to the water is allowed until 18:00". What?
A couple of lost items are at the Staff room on the second floor of Beit-Hecht.
