Open for registration and the invitation letters to Poland?

Hi, folks, I planed to attend Wikimania this year, and the Poland consulat tell me generally they would take 3 weeks for the visa applications. Also I need invitation letters to Poland first before applying visa. So my questions are: - When will Wikimania open for registration? - Can I get the invitation letters on time? Thanks for help. I tried to ask this question to the Gdansk local team privately, dziękuję Tomasz but seems they're too busy to reply so I open a thread here to see what other attendee's plan of Accommodation for early arrival in Gdansk a. Will there dorms for us as early as 6th? b. Do any early arrivals have plans for their accommodation? so we can stay somewhere around? WikiSym early registration closing soon

(apologies for duplication) Early registration is closing soon for WikiSym 2010 -- the sixth annual symposium on wikis and open collaboration, to be held this year in Gdansk, Poland. The symposium will feature a keynote by Cliff Lampe, research papers and panels about wikis and open collaboration, and an open space track for ongoing discussion. The conference will be held just before Wikimania 2010, the annual community conference of the Wikimedia Foundation, which will offer an opportunity for wiki researchers to meet and interact with Wikimedia community members. Early and late arrivals to the Wikimania in Gdańsk

Hello, A quick note regarding early or late accommodation in Gdańsk. The budget accommodation we have now reserved in student dormitories and similar facilities is booked from 7th till 13th of July. This includes scholarship recipients. We are not arranging earlier stay for the Wikiexpedition participants (see http://pl.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikiekspedycja_2010/en), as those people will be moving around the region so their accommodation should match their route. There should be no problem, however, to stay in Gdańsk at your place before and after the date, generally dormitories start to be available around mid-June.
