I'm taking a week off from Wikipedia. Too much stress.
And, yes, I know, I started all the threads that are stressing me out.

I am sorry for saying that, but if Wikipedia creates stress to its members, then something doesn't work in the right way.

NSK, it's comments like these that people consider "troll-like," because it is unsubstantiated accusation that only feeds bad feelings. This is where credibility comes into play (ie. your Wikipedia contributions, identity, etc)
Wikipedia, and wikis, work by this direct contact between ideas and opinions. It is an inevitable part of collaboration and consensus. For someone doing his "dissertation" on wikis, it's puzzling how this is not recognized.

NSK, nothing is really broken except world-politics and people in general. The reason for some many conflicts and so much wikistress is because people have their own POV, and would like to make it the dominant one. Other people feel differently. And NPOV crusaders like Ed Poor get burnt out because they are stuck in the middle, trying to be peacekeepers yet remain objective. Simple as that.
