Oddly the numbers have been dropping just over the past few days. If this rise is sustainable it will be because the hardware position is much improved (kudos to all concerned).
Another interesting comparison: if comScore says that WP's global audience is around 140 million, I read in my newspaper today that BBC World Service has 160 million. I don't know whether these numbers are credible, naturally.

Audience is a weird word. During the olympic games, they claim a television audience of 2 billion. I think that means that 2 billion people live in areas broadcast to by companies that may occasionally show some olympics. But most of them probably don't even have TVs...

I think we will pass Amazon before we pass Microsoft. Amazon seems to be loosing some ground in absolute terms.
