79 desysops..bah..I bet we will have over 100 de-sysops in 2008..Most
admins quit /leave for two reasons..1 being that they are really stressed
and need to relax so temp wikibreak and secondly, they didn't anticipate
that being an admin means so much work and so they give up because they
can't really cope with the rising number of editors/vandals and "wikidrama"
(f or some )..Cometstyles..

It
can be
very stressful.
Yet again, I understand that side of the story. But admins who retire
because of a grudge against another user is nonsensical to me.
Maybe so, but then
that's their problem, not yours.

If the breasts are in the pub[l]ic domain, fair use

Following up on this:
If the new slates take effect on Jan 1, and new arbs aren't
necessarily considered active on current cases from 2007, what happens
on Jan 1 to former arbs involved in still active cases? Especially
where they voted to accept a particular case, voted at
[[WP:RFAR/proposed decision]], etc.? Presumably, these cases will lack
a quorum to make a decision if new arbs don't join?
What would make sense
would be for the retiring arbiters to continue
participating in cases where they are already participating until tha
cases are decided.
They just would not be able to get inolved in new ones.

Yes, I understand that Wikipedia gets more admins
with time. But this
year had a massive jump in desysops. THAT'S why I'm getting worried.
After long complaints that it was almost impossible to get bad admins
removed, they're now getting removed with reasonable efficiency.

Nice way of getting rid of a superior who is occupying a job you envy.
