Have any of the actual readers complained about us having them? ~~~~
Who counts as an "actual reader"? I've certainly complained about them,
about a year ago on this mailing list I expressed my hatred for them.
Do the notices hurt anyone? No. But neither do misspellings or grammatical
mistakes. I still fix them when I see them.
