arguing. As well as admonitions, perhaps a dedicated page could contain
things like: a basic checklist before taking an article to AfD;
topic-based sketches of minimal search-engine checks to find some
references; and perhaps a flow diagram breaking down the major decisions
before putting anything up for deletion.
Sounds like a good idea. Start it as a how-to or essay first? Checking
"what links here" and other language encyclopedias are the things I
see people missing out most. Plus not simply searching Wikipedia to
see how often something is mentioned in other pages but not yet
linked.
