Infoboxes aren't really metadata, though; they are about the subject,
not about the article itself or Wikipedia's internal workings.
Perhaps a more structured way of handling key:value pairs of data
about a subject might be a good idea, though.
We've been historically very resistant to anything about an article
not being part of the editable article text, though ...
