crap new articles have to go through AfD.
By which you mean that we can either leave them alone, or devise some
alternative process for getting rid of them.
The hypothetical article in question is "[[Jerry the gay wanker]]", I
expect current speedy deletion policies would probably cover it. Failing
that one could use {{prod}}. There's no need to devise an alternative
process, several already exist.
