_Obviously_ a link to a list of students that doesn't actually contain
the name in question is a bad reference to support the statement that a
person is a student there. It's a reference that doesn't support the
statement, there a bad reference, but it's still a reference.
The problem is that this is not obvious unless one actually _checks_ the
reference. This statement would not have been touched by a "nuke any
unreferenced statements" policy, so it is not a good example to use in
support of implementing any such policy.
