What Wikipedia needs to do is pay a graphic designer to come up with a
new skin/visual style/logo etc. etc. for us. I've been saying for a
long time that Wikipedia is looking tired. Monobook came along in like
2004 (or was it 2003?) and nothing has really changed since then.

Even if the foundation were to do that I doubt they would be involved
in the placeholder images. No community is on it's own on that one.
