Well, the opposite can also be true. For example, we've all been to
little towns that smell like shit - or rather parts of them do anyway.
Processing factories might be a big part of the economy, and the
locals just live with it. Understandably, bad smells are not a high
selling point. But it's still it's a fact - just not one found in most
Wikipedia articles.
The point being that - in addition to issues of fictitious excess, we
also have issues of fictitious.. omission.
