Yay, meat-puppets! No, seriously I've tried to introduce new people to
Wikipedia, but the invariable response was "looks pretty stupid".
The ability to motivate others has never been a personal strength of
mine, and the ability to keep people from quitting in disgust has
never been a strength of the project.
But we should still aspire to do both.
