Wikipedia. It's about getting input from those who otherwise wouldn't

It's this sort of "get over it" attitude that dissuades people from
wanting to join this discussion. The sexism, discrimination, and bias
present in the Wikipedia community isn't something to "get over".

I wasn't even aware such bias existed apart from the occasional help or
refdesk request addressed as "Dear Sirs". Can you give any examples of
sexism or bias on WP or the mailing list?
