"Encyclopedic" is a subjective judgement related to "notable".
You do not improve an encyclopedia by putting in non-encyclopedic articles, any more than you would improve the Superbowl by putting in a performance of _Hamlet_.
I understand that Janet Jackson added improvements to the last Superbowl without ever playing football. :-) A performance of Hamlet might get some of us to watch who would otherwise find the production boring. That would be an improvement.
