This is a remarkably bad way to approach changing the communities mind
on the question of ads.
Calling people insane and irrational over their deeply held and
community-wide consensus held beliefs is pretty much showing the
finger to the community as a whole.
If that's what you intend to do - perhaps you should fork the project
and move on, rather than trying to work within the project.
If that's not what you intend to do, please spend the effort discuss
it in a respectful manner.
There is a difference between "I disagree entirely" and "Your beliefs
are insane".
